Darjeeling Tour Package 4 nights 5 days

Day 1: Pick up from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Station or Bagdogra Airport

On Day 1, you will be picked up by us from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Station or Bagdogra Airport. From there, the journey towards Takdah Heritage Bungalow will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. However, we can assure you that during this journey, you will not be bored. The majority of the roads are lined with stunning views of the surrounding tea gardens, with workers working diligently. It will be a balm to your sore eyes.    

Day 2: Calm Day at the Tea Gardens

Day 2 of the Darjeeling tour package is all about exploring the tea gardens and estates. After having breakfast, we will pay a visit to the Ging Tea House, Darjeeling. This will be followed by a tour of the Happy Valley Tea Estate and the Rishihat Tea Garden. By evening, we will return to Takdah.

Ging Tea House: This is one of the main highlights of the Darjeeling tour package of 4 nights and 5 days. Built in 1864, this impressive tea house is said to be the first ever colonial tea bungalow in Darjeeling. Its surroundings are full of calm and serene private gardens. A perfect spot to relax and unwind.  

Happy Valley Tea Estate: This is also a very beautiful spot, which is under our Darjeeling itinerary. Considered to be the finest spot for Darjeeling Tea, it is surrounded by exotic shrubs and a breathtaking view of the nearby Himalayan foothills. Rishihat Tea Garden: This is a serene village covered in our Darjeeling tour package 4 nights 5 days. It is known for producing premium-quality Darjeeling tea, which is exported all over the world. Day 3: Explore the nearby gems

On Day 3 of the Darjeeling tour package, which is 4 nights and 5 days, we will explore the beautiful spots near Darjeeling. After breakfast, we will head towards the Glenburn Tea Estate, Bhalukhop. Then we will return to Takdah and take a rest. Post resting, we will check out and leave for Kurseong. Upon reaching, we will check in at the resort and then explore the tea gardens that are nearby.

Glenburn Tea Estate: This vast Tea Estate was built by a Scottish tea company in 1859. It is especially reputed because it produces both Darjeeling tea and Black tea. It is currently owned by the Prakash family of Kolkata.    

Tea Gardens of Kurseong: Kurseong, a stunning hill station near Darjeeling, has tea gardens of its own. Considering this, the tea gardens are reputed for their beauty, calm atmosphere, and, of course, premium teas. Some notable tea gardens that are worth visiting are the Ambotia Tea Estate, Castleton Tea Estate, Makaibari Tea Estate, and the Goomtee Tea Estate. 

Day 4: Check out the underrated spots in Dooars

On Day 4, we will start our Darjeeling tour after breakfast. The first spot we will visit is Chalsa. There, we will check in at the resort. After having lunch, we will visit Jhalong, Bindu and Bhutan Ghat. Then will return to Chalsa.

Jhalong: Jhalong is one of the most underrated places to visit in the Dooars. Situated at a distance of 99 km from Siliguri, this picturesque village is near the Indo-Bhutan border. It is famous because it houses the Hydro Electricity Project on the Jaldhaka River.  

Bindu and Bhutan Ghat: Locally known as Bhutanghat, this place is very near to the Indo-Bhutan border. Bindu is a village that is known for its beauty and the fact that it is the last village on the Indian side of the border. It is a place where nature displays its full beauty. A gem of the  Darjeeling tour package is 4 nights and 5 days.  

Day 5: General Sightseeing and end of tour

Day 5 marks the end of the Darjeeling tour. We will start the return trip. However, we will partake in sightseeing on this day too. After breakfast, we will leave for Sutanekhola and Samsing. After that, we will return to Chalsa, check out, and leave for New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. If you are interested in visiting Garumara or Chapramari Forest for an early morning Safari on this tour, that can be arranged (the forest is open for Safari  from October to Jun)

Sutanekhola and Samsing: Sutanekhola is a scenic hamlet that is located in the Western region of Dooars. It is maintained by the Forest Department of West Bengal. It is visited by tourists due to its calm atmosphere and breathtaking views. The Sutanekhola Forest that surrounds it is full of local wildlife. The best spot to chill, rest, and enjoy nature at its finest.
